One thing I did not have on my 2024 bingo card this year was: Be On A Podcast!
Did you know Event Planner is consistently listed as one of the Top 5 Most Stressful Jobs? Uneventful is a weekly podcast hosted by Saundra Severtson, an event veteran with over 20 years of experience. In each episode, she chats with folks who have seen it all – venue managers, security staff, vendors and of course planners!
I connected with Saundra earlier this year through an online networking group after I saw we had a lot in common. We had such a fun time swapping stories and talking about events, that she asked me to come on the podcast for a recorded conversation.
I had such a blast sharing how I got interested in events, why I started Cute Story, the highs and lows of running a business, and the chaotic event moments I can’t forget.
